This weave gives it antibacterial properties: because there are no loops or pile, it’s less likely to trap bacteria.

Because one of our main offices is in Istanbul, we were able to take our time scouting expert mills across Turkey, zeroing in on the highest-quality partner. Our supplier understands that quality textiles are only achieved with quality yarn—so they built their own yarn factory to ensure they only use the best. What makes our towels different?
Built on tradition
Turkish baths, called hammams, can be traced back to the 7th century. Today, Turkish producers continue to refine and innovate their techniques and materials.
Perfectly balanced
A higher GSM, or grams per square meter, means a towel is thicker and more absorbent, but it also takes longer to dry, so we chose something that feels spa-like, but isn’t so heavy that it’s perpetually damp.
Siro-combed
Developed in the 1970s by textile scientist Dieter Plate, textiles made with siro-combed yarns are smoother, last longer, and cost less than those produced with traditional two-fold yarns.
