Region of Origin
- Stripes—a simple and timeless classic
- A minimalist, midcentury design with art deco elements
Anatolia makes up the majority of modern-day Turkey. Rugs from this region are defined by their tribal and geometric designs—with plenty of symbols reflecting life from traditional households.
Kilims constructed from a blend of goat hair and cotton are incredibly long-lasting. Both fibers are known for their durability, and together create a very sturdy frame. Cotton is rigid, strong, and prevents warping over time, while goat hair is a rugged natural fiber with long, bristly strands that add texture. Once this durable foundation is built, all decorative embroidery is done with vegetable-dyed wool yarn.
