Mut is a seaside town in southern Turkey known for its hardy and tribal goat hair based flatweave kilims embroidered in intricate geometric patterns.
These minimal kilims are woven from a blend of goat hair (known for its longer, firmer fibers) and wool—resulting in a more durable flatweave design.
