An exploration of vibrant color and texture, designed to the weave. Beep Beep's palette of primary colors is elevated with stripes of moodier shades, and grounded in accents of black and cream.
The Design
Fast has a neutral salt-and-pepper ground and occasional multicolored racing stripes and both ends, bordered by a striking black fringe.
The Material
Wool’s natural lanolin makes it soft and shiny, protecting it from shedding and dirt—and it decomposes quickly without risk of microfibers. In this piece, a felted New Zealand wool weft is woven onto a New Zealand wool foundation for heft and body.
The Supplier
We partnered with a small, family-run weaving house known for their flatweave expertise. They’re Craftmark-certified, which means they meet stringent national standards for socially responsible handmade products. Many of their weavers have been with them for as long as 30 years, and their looms are over 100 years old.
The Designer
Our in-house, all-star design team collaborates across Los Angeles, Istanbul, and Mumbai. Starting with the weave itself, they determine material and technique, then create moodboards to capture the look and feel before starting to design each collection. When designs are finalized, they work with the supplier on an extensive sampling process, perfecting each style and color before it goes to production.
