Keles in northwest Turkey is known for its production of coarse slit-weave kilims with tribal features in subdued and muted shades.

Material Details

Kork wool is shorn from the underbelly and neck of the sheep. Because these areas are more protected from the environment, the resulting wool has a much higher lanolin content and feels softer in texture and has a greater luster and sheen.
