Region of Origin

Maden is a town in central Anatolia known for rugs featuring Anatolian motifs, but with uniquely oversized floral designs and scalloped (instead of stepped) details throughout.

Material Details

Kork wool is shorn from the underbelly and neck of the sheep. Because these areas are more protected from the environment, the resulting wool has a much higher lanolin content and feels softer in texture and has a greater luster and sheen.
