Region of Origin

Karakecili in central Anatolia is known for its all-wool nomadic rugs featuring all-over geometricized patterns.

Material Details

Kork wool is shorn from the underbelly and neck of the sheep. Because these areas are more protected from the environment, the resulting wool has a much higher lanolin content and feels softer in texture and has a greater luster and sheen.
