Turkish designer Gizem Yuce sought to create an armchair which was functional, flexible, and elegant. She elevated this classic camp chair with luxury materials, like pale solid oak and supple tan leather, without sacrificing utility: it folds for easy storage or travel.
The MaterialFinished leather will resist liquids and loosen slightly over time, aging naturally and becoming more supple and luxurious after years of use. Natural-finished solid ash is a traditional wood admired for its smooth touch, durability, and bright hue.
The MakerOur partner is a young company based in Istanbul, Turkey, where it was founded nearly 20 years ago. They specialize in producing chairs, and work mostly with solid wood craftsmanship, leather, and metal.
