Taspinar in south central Anatolia is known for high quality wool rugs featuring Anatolian motifs with elongated stepped hexagonal medallions and geometricized floral details.

Material Details

Kork wool is shorn from the underbelly and neck of the sheep. Because these areas are more protected from the environment, the resulting wool has a much higher lanolin content and feels softer in texture and has a greater luster and sheen.
