Designed as a flatpack, with easy and fun 5 minute assembly, the Sidekick Table is composed of two simple slabs of wood which create its top and a single shelf, plus three black metal legs situated on its exterior. The Sidekick Table was born because we wanted to create a functional, simple, clean side table, something that could be used any and everywhere. We also wanted something that made packaging easier, more sustainable, and more affordable.
The MaterialAsh is a smooth and reliable wood which requires minimal maintenance. Widely appreciated for its bright, light hue, ours is finished for protection from stains. Solid pine is lightweight, workable and durable. In combining these materials, we keep prices affordable without compromising on quality, aesthetic, or sustainability. Iron, one of Turkey’s top exports, is a timeless and reliable metal. Easy to clean, durable, and substantial, we like bringing this traditional outdoor material in for a dose of strength and solidity.
The MakerOur partner is a small workshop in Istanbul who specializes in solid wood craftsmanship, metalwork, and an attention to detail. Their passion for design is visible in their handiwork, lines and techniques.
The DesignerOur in-house, all-star design team collaborates across three different countries. Based in Los Angeles, Istanbul, and Mumbai, they put a lot of thought into each and every collection they design. They begin by determining material and technique, then create moodboards to capture the look and feel before starting to design. When designs are finalized, they conduct an extensive sampling process, perfecting each style and color before it goes to production.
