Esma Dereboy’s ceramic collection features minimal, modern tableware designs. Carefully and sustainably crafted, these pieces are identifiable by their rare and satisfying thinness.
The Design
Simple and elegant mid-sized round plate with high sides, fired in eye-catching colors, which are matte on the exterior rim and glossy on the flat surface and lip. The perfect size for ramen, pasta, salad, and stew.
The Material
Limoges porcelain is named for the location of its production in Limoges, Frances, where it’s been produced since the late 18th century. A type of hard-paste or true porcelain, it was originally developed in China around the 7th or 8th century. Considered some of the finest hard porcelain in the world, it’s fired at extremely high temperatures multiple times for durability, which is especially important in the fabrication of elegant and thin ceramics.
