Ladder
The Ladder rugs are woven with a hand-tufting technique which creates distinct horizontal lines, so our design team played into the weave’s linear quality. They kept the designs simple, instead playing with the yarn’s inherent abrash effect, letting the colors shine. For inspiration, they looked to Roland Fischer's photo series 'Facades', which studies the graphic patterns that emerge on the front of skyscrapers when viewed closely.
