Patchwork Rugs
In these revived Turkish rugs, pieces of vintage flatweaves or hand-knotted rugs are sewn together. In addition to minimizing waste, this quilt-like approach incorporates a fundamental early weaving technique: attaching smaller pieces together to make a larger whole, like in panel kilims.
