To create the Matta Collection, skilled weavers hand-card wool to enhance its softness and prepare it for spinning. A kilim-style weave highlights the texture of its wool weft. Cotton yarn is dyed in small batches and used for the warp. Artisans inspect each rug, trimming the fringe and stray threads before completion.
