A simple and elegant wooden candlestick for taper candles, handmade by local artisans on a lathe. With a midcentury modern conical shape, each piece is entirely one-of-a-kind; and its varied texture and tone is what makes it valuable.
The MaterialMango is a quick-growing wood known for its dense grain and durability. It’s beloved for its appealing texture and wide range of colors, ranging from dark to light, occasionally with a hint of pink. The wood is harvested from older trees: once the trees’ fruit-bearing lifespan has finished, it reroutes nutrients inward to its heartwood.
