Long-staple Turkish cotton is extremely soft and durable. As its staple length increases, so does cotton’s softness. A longer fiber length results in a smoother surface with fewer exposed fiber ends as it’s spun and woven, which means that items made with long staple cotton don’t pill or tear as much and may even soften over time.
The MakerBecause one of our main offices is in Istanbul, we were able to take our time scouting expert mills across Turkey, zeroing in on the highest-quality partner. They work with smaller at-home weaving operations, where weavers use an old-fashioned shuttle loom to weave in the comfort of their homes.
Care InstructionsMachine wash cold with like colors, hang to dry. Can also be dry cleaned. Some shrinkage to be expected.
